Important: If planning to use train from Faro airport to Silves at night, please be aware the last train departs Faro station at 20:18. We recommend reviewing all the public transport connection times before purchasing any flights into Portugal.
Car Hire
Please inform us during your reservation if you would like assistance to hire a car with our local car rental friends at cheaper rates than the big boys, and no card deposits required. Various other car rental companies can be found at the airport websites.
Driving Directions
We will email you very detailed driving directions and GPS coords when we have finalised your reservation. This will bring you directly to our estate. We are approximately 1hr drive from Faro airport and 2.5hrs from Lisbon airport.
Buses & Taxis: Faro Airport to Silves
There are no direct buses from the airport to Silves. Bus service from arrivals to Faro city running at 30 to 45 minute intervals. From Faro you will take the bus to Albufeira and then a connection to Silves.

Train: Faro Airport to Silves
There is no direct train service from the airport to Silves, it is necessary to take a bus or taxi to Faro train station, bus recommended as it's cheapest and very close to train station.
There are 9 train services from Faro to Silves per day starting at 08:24 and the last departure is 20:18, though it is important to check timetables as these times may vary.

The train station at Silves is 2km south of the town and requires a taxi ride (~€5) or 20 - 30 minute walk.
You can arrange with us to collect you from Silves, BUT we do not collect on retreat days unless it is an early morning arrival.

From Lisbon Airport (LIS) take Subway from Aeroporto to Oriente Station, approximately 6 minutes and costs €2.
Take train from Lisboa Oriente to Tunes, approximately 3hrs and costs €16 - €35.
Take Train from Tunes to Silves, approximately 22minutes and costs €1 to €3.
